Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City 
Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Meet transfer to hotel. City tour: War Remnants Museum, Binh Tay Market in Chinatown, Giac Lam Pagoda and lacquer workshop. (D)
(OVERNIGHT IN HO CHI MINH CITY).

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi - Ho Chi Minh City
Full day excursion to Tay Ninh with visit to Cao Dai Holy See and the Cu Chi fighting tunnels. Evening: cultural show during dinner at Le Mecong restaurant. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh City
Full day excursion to My Tho: cruise on Mekong River, visit to local homes  
and orchards, floating market, sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, taste of seasonal fruit. (B,L)
(OVERNIGHT IN HO CHI MINH CITY).

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Hue
Flight to Hue. Transfer to hotel. Boat ride on Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang Tomb. Then overland to Khai Dinh Tomb. Evening: traditional show and royal dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Hue - Hanoi
AM: Visit to ImperialCitadel and Dong Ba Market.
PM: A short flight to Hanoi. Transfer to your hotel.(B,D)

 Day 6: Hanoi - Halong
AM: A half day city tour around Hanoi to visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, History Museum, Temple of Literature and Fine Arts Museum. PM: transfer to Halong. Rest of the day is free in Ha Long City. (B,L)
(OVERNIGHT IN HA LONG CITY).

Day 7: Halong Bay
Full day cruise in Ha Long Bay (8 hours). Seafood lunch on board and visit to limestone caves, off-shore islets and sea-bathing. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Halong - Hanoi
AM: transfer to Hanoi. PM: visit to Bat Trang pottery  
village, Old Quarters and
downtown for rickshaw tour (1 hour). Evening: water puppet show. (B,L,D)
(OVERNIGHT IN HANOI).

Day 9: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hanoi
AM: transfer to Ninh Binh, visit to Dinh & Le Temples.
PM: sampan ride to Tam Coc and visit to Bich Dong Pagoda. Transfer to Hanoi. Farewell dinner with your guide. (B,L,D)

Day 10: Departure from Hanoi
Downtown shopping (ceramics, silver-carvings, silk...) or at leisure before checkout. Transfer to airport for departure.
