Day 1: Hanoi – Vinh (D)

Pick up from your hotel and depart for Vinh along Ho Chi Minh trail. Our journey starts from Xuan Mai (route 21) - the starting point of historic Ho Chi Minh trail.  We make a first stop in Dong Loc Road Junction known as ‘Nga Ba Dong Loc’ where 10 young girls were died in 1968 during Vietnam War. Arrive in Vinh city, we detour to Ho Chi Minh native homeland before back to hotel for a night in Vinh city.

Day 2: Vinh - Dong Hoi (B, D)

Breakfast at your hotel before back to Ho Chi Minh trail and drive for Dong Hoi. Dong Hoi lies on the coastline and junction with famous Nhat Le river, the hometowm of Suot Mother. We will stay in comfortable Sun Spa resort.

Day 3: Phong Nha Cave – The World Heritage (B,D)

Breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Phong Nha cave that located 30km north of Dong Hoi. Sampan to visit World Heritage of Phong Nha – Ke Bang. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Dong Hoi Sun Spa resort.

Day 4: Dong Hoi – DMZ – Hue (B,D)

Depart for Hue along highway 1, visit monuments of Ben Hai River (the 17th parallel), Vinh Moc Tunnel, Doc Mieu and famous Truong Son cemetery. A short to Hue and a cruise on Perfume River after dinner. Overnight in Hue.

Day 5: Hue (B, L)

Enjoy your half day tours to visit Perfume River, offshore for Thien Mu pagoda, Tu Duc tomb and afternoon following by visit Forbidden city of Hue (Dai Noi). Rest of the day at leisure with optional of relaxing on Thuan An beach.

Day 6: Hue – Hanoi (B)

Morning free at your hotels then take an afternoon flight back to Hanoi. (Depart for Hoi An or other parts of Vietnam is also available upon request).
