Day 1 : Hanoi capital arrival
Hanoi
- heart of the Red River delta, capital of Vietnam since 1010 under the
Ly dynasty, located inside the rivers that make its name as ' Inside
Rivers ' in English. Pick up and transfer to your hotel from Noi Bai
International Airport. You will firstly meet the Red River from the
heights of the Thang Long bridge on the way from the airport. The rest
of your time is free for leisure except in the evening the famous water
puppet show and a welcome dinner where our guide introduces
Hanoi's foods. Overnight in Hanoi. ( Dinner included )
Day 2 : Hanoi city tour
Having
developed over nearly a thousand years, absorbing many events from
feudalism to the recent European touches, Hanoi now is a mixture of
the old and new. City tours of Hanoi today include old vestiges and new
development. First of all, we visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his
former residence. One Pillar Pagoda is next before we head to the
Temple of Literature to study more about Vietnam education in the past.
The coach takes us back to central Hanoi to see Hoan Kiem lake with a
short visit to Ngoc Son temple. Lunch time in one of the most famous
restaurants in Hanoi with its specialty of Cha Ca (grilled fish). After
lunch we visit Hanoi's old quarter by Xich Lo before visiting
the Museum of Ethnology. Transfer to Thanh Nien to see the
oldest pagoda in Vietnam - Tran Quoc. Dinner tonight will be served in
a French villa that remains from the French time. Overnight in Hanoi. (

Day 3 : Hanoi - Bac Ninh ( The hometown of handicrafts and Quan Ho folk songs )
After
breakfast at your hotel we depart for Bac Ninh, the hometown of the
famous folk music Quan Ho which has been sung by the local people here
for nearly a thousand years. Our first stop is Tho Ha village, one of
the very few villages in Vietnam still well maintained. We walk around
the maze of narrow alleys in Tho Ha village and learn more about the
local culture by visiting a local family. A special local wine welcome
is hosted by the warm owners. The owner will take us around to
introduce parts of his village such as the Pagoda of Quang Minh and
the Tho Ha communal house. We cross the small river and drive to Diem
village where we will meet a famous lady - Mrs. Ban, who is one of the
oldest living person of Quan Ho folk music. Listen and hear
a translation of the lovely meaning of Quan Ho from Mrs. Ban. Back
to Phu Son Resort for lunch be accompanied by more Quan Ho songs. In
the afternoon we keep heading to Duong River to visit two more villages
which are Dong Ho folk painting & Xuan Lai smoked bamboo furniture
villages. Again, you will see the skillful works of the local people in
the Red River delta and beautiful scenery on the way to their villages.
Back to Bac Ninh for rest at your swimming pool or massage on the sixth
floor of your resort. Overnight in Bac Ninh. ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4 : Bac Ninh - Halong - Luxury Cruise
After
breakfast we take a coach to the fabulous Halong Bay, created in
Vietnamese folklore by a descending dragon. We will have our boat,
built in the style of a Chinese junk, opulently decorated. After we set
off we have a terrific silver service lunch on board as we head for the
Sung Sot cave and its limestone structures. In the soft Vietnamese
night you can try your hand at fishing. You sleep anchored in the bay,
rocked by the gentle ocean waves. ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included )
Day 5 : Halong Bay - Hanoi
We
continue cruising on the bay until just after lunch when we dock again
at Halong City. Our coach will meet us and return us to our Hanoi
hotel. The rest of the day is your free time for shopping. Farewell
dinner with your tour guide at one of the finest retaurant in town.

Day 6 : Hanoi departure
Free time until your free transfer to the airport for your flight home.
